Mission

Though historically Quaker (Religious Society of Friends), Graham Friends Church is now an independent, non-denominational congregation, still committed to hearing God’s Spirit speak. We assert that the only reliable way to hear the Lord is through the Scripture.

Therefore, our mission is…

1: to be disciples of the Savior Jesus who faithfully listen to and walk with the God of the Bible—who calls such students his friends (John 15:15)

2: to show others — in our own community, throughout our state and country, and to the uttermost parts of the world that God so loves (Acts 1:8; John 3:16) — how to enjoy this blessed relationship of Master and student, God and friend

3: to the end that we may all enjoy God’s guidance and friendship forever.

Through devotion to the Word, fellowship, and prayer, we believe that God will do wondrous things to us and through us (Acts 2:42). These wonders can never be more fully comprehended than in these words: that by the authority of God, we are compelled to go to all people in all nations sharing the good news of salvation (Matthew 28:19-20) through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8) and will see people recovered from an eternal separation from God to an everlasting friendship with him.
